We welcome you to La Cava, a venue where you can indulge in a tasting experience, complemented by an aromatic exploration of three renowned Argentine wine regions: the North, Patagonia, and Cuyo.
Alongside the expertise of a distinguished sommelier, who will guide you through the intricacies of the soil and the unique characteristics of each wine, this tasting will be perfectly paired with a selection of tapas that enhance both the wine and the overall experience.
Tour Description
We will start our journey by gathering at La Cava. From there, we will be guided to the room where this exceptional experience unfolds. Participants will receive a form to fill out, which will be beneficial later in the activity.
The sommelier will provide an introductory overview of the wines, engaging everyone, and then commence the tasting of three distinct wines, each representing a renowned wine region.
Northwest Argentina will showcase a Torrontés paired with traditional Salta-style empanadas. Moving to the Patagonia region, a Pinot Noir will be accompanied by a delectable mushroom crostini. Lastly, the Cuyo region will be highlighted by a Malbec served with savory meat skewers.
This entire experience will be led by a sommelier, who will elaborate on the geographical differences and the unique characteristics of each soil type that influence wine production. It's an interactive session where you can complete a checklist detailing how all your senses engage during wine tasting, considering its color, aroma, and more. Additionally, we will have aromatherapy diffusers to aid in comprehending the diverse olfactory notes of wines.
