Embark on this thrilling vehicle excursion lasting around 8 hours, reaching altitudes of up to 4,200 meters above sea level. It's advisable to bring a coat for comfort. The journey sets off at 9:30 a.m., with an expected return between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.
Your adventure begins as you arrive in Purmamarca, where you'll explore the Humahuaca Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can marvel at the renowned Cerro de los Siete Colores, a captivating landscape within the gorge.
The tour continues to Tilcara, where the Pucará de Tilcara awaits, a pre-Hispanic defensive structure you can visit during this trip.
As we ascend to 2940 meters above sea level, we'll transfer to Hornacal, switching to a road-appropriate vehicle to reach the viewpoint of the Cerro de los Catorce Colores mountain ranges, where the altitude surpasses 4300 meters.
