Descripción del Tour:

The tour commences with the collection of passengers from their chosen hotels.
The journey kicks off in the Tierra Mayor Valley. The trail meanders through native forests and peat bogs, leading us to our initial destination, the Laguna Esmeralda, after roughly an hour's walk. At this juncture, we pause to rest and appreciate the stunning surroundings.

Post-lagoon, the ascent begins on rocky terrain. This segment is the most challenging part of the trek, featuring a steady climb that spans about three hours. As we progress, we leave behind the forested area and find ourselves encircled by the majestic Andes Mountains, with their awe-inspiring peaks.

The path guides us between walls tinged with orange hues until we arrive at a natural balcony. From this vantage point, you can admire the Laguna Esmeralda below and a broader landscape stretching into the distance. From here, we embark on the final ascent. Depending on the season, this section might require using your hands to navigate some challenging steps. A helmet and suitable gear are essential, and the guide will be present at all times, providing supervision and support to the group.

Ultimately, after approximately four and a half hours of hiking, we reach the glacier. We are welcomed by a 20-meter-high frontal wall, accompanied by a green melting lagoon and a distinct environment. In winter, the lagoon freezes and becomes snow-covered, enabling you to walk to the glacier's base. Here, we enjoy lunch and take the time to relax, converse, and relish the views before retracing our steps along the same path.
