Descripción del Tour:

Departure from El Calafate is scheduled for around 08:30 am, heading onto gravel road No. 15, also known as the “Camino de las Estancias.” Throughout the journey, it's common to encounter condors, foxes, and hares, with Cerro Frías taking center stage.
Upon arrival at the ranch, after traveling along the shores of Lake Roca and entering the Los Glaciares National Park, the host guide will greet you and lead you to the Quincho. There, you'll be treated to a warm beverage—be it tea, coffee, or mate—paired with homemade pastries. It's an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the Cordillera de los Andes.
The tour begins with a walk to explore a traditional Patagonian ranch. The guide will share stories about the initial settlers and the cattle farming at the Estancia, along with a brief historical overview of the Perito Moreno Glacier ruptures and their impact on the region.
Returning to the Quincho, you'll find the barbecue ready, offering a delectable Patagonian lamb feast, accompanied by the breathtaking view of the Andes.
After lunch, you'll embark on an extended horseback ride with the guide, lasting approximately 3 hours, providing a deeper exploration of the area. We depart from the ranch heading east, following a trail through the native forest of ñires, featuring calafates, grills, notros, cherries, lengas, and an array of wildflowers such as topa-topa, orchids, peas, and dandelions. The route is named "The Crystal Cord" due to the occasional sighting of quartz crystals.
As the path winds and ascends, the landscape grows increasingly majestic. Near the summit, under favorable weather conditions, you'll be able to view the various arms of Argentino Lake, including Brazo Sur, Brazo Rico, and Lago Roca. With some luck, you might witness the awe-inspiring flight of the Condor. The journey back follows a trail through forests of lengas and ñires until reaching La Angostura, where Lake Argentino merges with Lago Roca.
Afterward, we will return to Calafate.
