Following breakfast, we'll collect you from your centrally located hotel in Buenos Aires to embark on this exceptional tour. The journey begins at Memory Square, the former site of the Israeli Embassy in Argentina. In 1992, a bombing tragically destroyed the embassy building, resulting in the loss of 29 lives and injuring more than 200 individuals. Today, the plaza inaugurated in 2000 stands as a tribute, featuring a monument dedicated to the victims and the State of Israel. Linden trees are planted in memory of each person who perished in the attack.
Our tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Liberty, also known as the Synagogue of the Israelite Congregation of the Argentine Republic. This is the largest and oldest Jewish temple in the country, housing the "Israeli Congregation of the Argentine Republic" (CIR). It was declared a National Historic Monument in 2000.
Next, we explore the bustling hub of Jewish life in Argentina: The (Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina), the new headquarters of the Jewish Community.
