The magnificent Rio de las Vueltas originates from Lago Del Desierto and flows towards Lago Viedma, weaving its way through verdant lenga forests and rugged cliffs, spanning a total of 70 km, providing us with unparalleled views of Mount Fitz Roy and its majestic peaks.
Kayaking along this river is suitable for both novices and seasoned kayakers, with options to embark on either a full-day or half-day kayaking journey.

Descripción del Tour:
At 10:30 am, our knowledgeable guide will be waiting for us at the designated meeting point in the heart of El Chaltén. From there, we will embark on a journey by car to the Laguna Condor Refuge, situated 20 kilometers north of the town, along the banks of the Río de las Vueltas.
Upon arrival at the refuge, we will receive a briefing about the activity, along with a fitting session for the equipment, including safety gear such as suits, neoprene boots, gloves, a life jacket, and a helmet. Before we enter the river and explore its bends, we will go over some essential movements and safety techniques to facilitate our navigation.
Once in the river, we will commence our exciting and enjoyable descent, navigating through various meanders while taking in the breathtaking Patagonian landscapes and the extraordinary views of Mount Fitz Roy.
After covering 20 km and spending 3 and a half hours kayaking, we will arrive back in El Chaltén. We will return to the meeting point where we can change out of our wet clothing, unwind, and conclude this wonderful adventure by around 5:00 p.m.
** If you opt for the "Half Day" option, the kayaking trip along the Río de las Vueltas will span 10 km in 1 hour and a half, ending at the Bonanza Camp. Here, you can change your clothes and relax before boarding the vehicle that will take you back to El Chaltén, with the drop-off around 3 p.m.
