Navigation In The Beagle Channel And The Island Of Los Lobos

The excursion kicks off with a transfer from your hotel in Ushuaia to the "Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli" Tourist Port, where we'll board the vessel. As we depart from the shore, you'll be treated to stunning panoramic vistas of the entire city and its key landmarks, alongside a spectacular blend of sea and mountains, featuring prominently Mount Olivia, Cinco Hermanos, Estancias Fique and Túnel, and the Encajonado River.

Our journey continues as we navigate towards the Bridges Islands. Here, we'll disembark for a leisurely stroll across the islands. In the heart of the Beagle Channel, our aim is to explore these fascinating attractions:

- Yámanas Shell Farm: Near the dock, you'll encounter archaeological remnants of the Yámanas or Yaganes settlements, the original dwellers of the Beagle Channel. Through the guide's narratives, you'll delve into their world and envision their way of life.

- Interpretation of the island's flora: Stroll along the interpretation circuit to admire the unique plants, flowers, and fruits that thrive in this special ecosystem.

We'll reboard and sail southwest, approaching Isla de Los Lobos. From the boat, you'll have the chance to observe these charming marine mammals up close, spending around 20 minutes watching the sea lions in their natural surroundings.

Our voyage continues towards Bird Island, the natural abode of Magellanic Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants. Here, you'll enjoy a prime view for spotting various marine bird species.

The tour progresses to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse in the namesake archipelago, where you'll catch a glimpse of the Monte Cervantes shipwreck from 1930.

Photography enthusiasts, rejoice! The catamaran will pause at these key locations, making several turns to allow passengers to capture the best shots of the scenery.

We'll begin our return to Ushuaia via Paso Chico, gazing out at the Estancias Túnel and Fique. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the city from Monte Martial and its glacier.
