The service begins with passengers being picked up directly from their hotels, where a team will greet them and transfer them to the base of Cerro López. The journey to the base not only marks the beginning of the adventure, but also prepares visitors for what will be an unforgettable experience.
Once at the base, the ascent in 4x4 vehicles begins, traveling a winding and challenging mountain road. During this journey, you will cross an enchanted forest of centuries-old Coihues and tall Lengas. The curves of the road offer panoramic views of Nahuel Huapi National Park, with its lakes, serene islands, and imposing mountains.
Upon arriving at the designated point, passengers have the opportunity to take their first pictures of this landscape before continuing with the activity. Equipped with snowshoes, the specialized guides explain how these tools work and offer valuable tips for walking with them, ensuring both the safety and comfort of the participants. The hike, which lasts approximately one hour, is full of fascinating stories and facts provided by the guides, who share their knowledge of the environment. The hike, with its impressive views of Cerro López, becomes an immersive experience that connects visitors with nature. Once the hike is over, participants are welcomed at the Roca Negra Refuge. There, they can enjoy a delicious cheese or chocolate fondue, depending on the time of day chosen. Finally, the descent is done again in 4x4 vehicles, taking passengers back to the base of the hill. From there, they are transferred to their respective hotels, rounding out a day full of spectacular scenery, memorable activities, and time spent in good company.
