Descripción del Tour:
Starting at 08:00, we will pick up guests from their hotels to embark on our journey to the Andorra Valley. This area is known for its unique spontaneous settlements that characterize Ushuaia.
By 08:30 a.m., after disembarking from the vehicle, the hike continues along a stream that winds through the peat bog covering the valley. This terrain is wet and slippery, so suitable footwear is essential for the journey.
Upon entering the forest, the ascent becomes steady. Although it starts off intensely, it eases up as we near the tree line, approximately 600 meters above sea level, reaching this point around 10:30 a.m. Beyond the trees, the dramatic peaks of the surrounding mountains come into view, framing the valley where our trek began.
At 11:30 a.m., the climb continues alongside a water stream originating from a glacial lagoon. Decades ago, the Vinciguerra glacier would calve icebergs into this lagoon. While the glacier has since receded slightly, it remains fascinating due to the ice caves and the enchanting allure of this area, offering breathtaking vistas.
Around 12:30 p.m., we reach the base of the glacier, where we will enjoy our lunch. An hour later, we begin our descent, aiming to return to our vehicles by 4:00 p.m. and head back to the hotels in Ushuaia.
