Ski Day At Cathedral Hill

In the morning, we will collect you in our vehicles from the designated meeting points within the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. From there, we embark on our journey to the breathtaking Cerro Catedral, the largest and most famous ski resort in all of South America.

The tour, which lasts around 45 minutes, takes us along the stunning Lake Nahuel Huapi as we gradually ascend the roads leading to the winter resort. Throughout our journey, we'll be accompanied by panoramic views of the mountain range and snow-covered forests.

Upon reaching the base of the hill, we will proceed to the Travesía Building, situated opposite the Las Terrazas Shopping Center, where the meeting point is established for collecting passes and equipment. Our staff will be there to assist us in gathering the complete ski equipment (boots, skis, and poles), along with the included thermal clothing (jacket, pants, and helmet).

After gearing up, we will meet the certified instructors who will oversee the activity. Groups will then be divided based on the chosen activity: in this instance, beginner skiing.

We will commence with a 2-hour group ski initiation lesson, perfect for those without prior experience. We'll learn the basics from scratch, including how to put on our skis, basic gliding techniques, braking, and maintaining balance. This all takes place in a specially designated area for beginners, ensuring a safe and controlled environment, with constant support from instructors. This first snowy experience is both fun and unforgettable!

Following the lesson, we will guide you to one of the restaurants at the hill's base for a well-deserved lunch (not included). Here, you can select from a variety of culinary delights while you rest and rejuvenate.

In the afternoon, you will have free time to enjoy the surroundings of Cerro Catedral at your leisure. With the included pass, you can continue practicing your newly acquired skills in the beginner sections, explore the base area, snap panoramic photos of Nahuel Huapi National Park, or simply unwind in one of the mountain shelters with a warm beverage in hand. Additionally, you'll have the chance to explore the shops at the winter resort, offering everything from souvenirs to delectable Bariloche chocolates.

At the predetermined time, we will reconvene at the meeting point to begin our return journey to Bariloche. On the way back, we can share our thoughts and relive the highlights of this day filled with adventure, snow, and fun.
