We will depart from the hotel in a minibus, making our way to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Our first stop will be at Ensenada Zaratiegui, where we will be treated to stunning views of the Beagle Channel, with the picturesque Redonda, Hoste, and Navarino islands prominently in sight.
From this point, we embark on a journey along the Coastal Path, a seven-kilometer trail that offers an opportunity to explore the diverse flora and birdlife of the Beagle Channel and the Fuegian forest. Along the way, we will also encounter remnants of ancient Yámana settlements, indigenous to the area. After a three-hour hike, we will arrive at Lake Roca, where a refreshing hot lunch awaits us.
Post-lunch, we will embark on a ride in “inflatable duckies” along the Lapataia River. This adventure will bring us closer to our destination, Lapataia Bay in the Beagle Channel, exactly where the Pan American Route and National Route No. 3 conclude.
