Snowboarding Day At Cerro Catedral

Experience the thrill of snowboarding at Latin America's most iconic ski resort, with everything prepared for your first adventure on the board.

In the morning, we will collect you with our vehicles from the designated meeting points in San Carlos de Bariloche. From there, we will embark on our journey to the magnificent Cerro Catedral, the largest winter sports center in South America.

Throughout the approximately 45-minute drive, we will travel alongside the stunning Lake Nahuel Huapi, marveling at a landscape of snow-covered forests and mountains that promise a truly unique day.

Upon arrival at the base of the hill, we will proceed to the Travesía Building, located across from the Las Terrazas Shopping Center, where the meeting point is situated to collect passes and equipment. Our team will assist you in obtaining the complete snowboard gear (boots and board) and the included thermal clothing (jacket, pants, and helmet).

Once equipped, we will join the certified instructors, who will lead the introductory snowboarding class, tailored specifically for beginners in this sport.

During the 2-hour session, we will learn how to position the board, maintain balance, execute turns, and brake safely. The activity takes place in a beginner's area, with continuous guidance from specialized instructors, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Following the class, we will head to one of the hill's restaurants to enjoy lunch (not included) and relax while taking in the breathtaking mountain views.

In the afternoon, we will have free time to further explore Cerro Catedral. With the included pass, you can continue practicing on the beginner-friendly slopes or take the opportunity to explore the base of the hill, capture panoramic photos, visit the mountain refuge, or indulge in a delicious hot chocolate.

At the end of the day, we will reconvene at the meeting point to return to Bariloche, with our hearts brimming with excitement and a newfound passion for the snow.
