Tour Description
Our Montevideo Day Trip from Buenos Aires starts at the ferry terminal (details above) at 7am, where we will board the ferry at Buqueavión and set sail for Montevideo at 8am.
We expect to arrive by 11am and will embark on a guided city tour of the historic old town. During our tour, we’ll explore numerous colonial-style landmarks, including the Cabildo de Montevideo, constructed between 1804 and 1812, the Teatro Solis, and Iglesia Matriz. Additionally, we will visit several notable museums, such as the Torres García Museum, the Museum of Pre-Columbian and Indigenous Art, and the Museum of Decorative Arts.
The city tour is scheduled to conclude around 5pm, after which we’ll head to Punta Carretas, Uruguay's largest shopping mall. This mall is renowned for its luxury services, a blend of local and international brands, and its unique lighting, which is one of its most captivating features.
Following our shopping experience, we’ll return to the port by approximately 6pm. Our ferry is scheduled to depart at 7:15pm, and after a 3-hour journey across the water, we’ll conclude our tour back at the Buenos Aires port.
