04:30 pm: we'll gather at the entrance of the Carlos Gardel Museum, the residence where Carlos Gardel lived with his mother. Gardel was a legendary singer, songwriter, composer, actor, and the most influential figure in tango history. The house, which served as a "tanguería" in the 1960s, has been meticulously restored and now showcases the cultural heritage and legacy of the singer. Original fixtures from the kitchen and bathroom have been preserved. It's a fascinating place to explore the various stages of Gardel's life through personal items such as photos, magazines, newspapers, musical instruments, records, and furniture. In the courtyard, there is a table from the Café de los Angelitos bar, a favorite spot of Gardel.
06 pm: We'll head to "Las Violetas", a historic bar with over a century of Buenos Aires history.Recognized as a "Historic Place of the City" in 1998 by the Buenos Aires City Legislature, this bar has hosted presidents as well as renowned artists and writers. With its beautiful stained-glass windows, curved glass doors, French stained-glass features, and Italian marble floors, it stands as one of the city’s most elegant and distinguished bars. Here, we'll indulge in a delightful and complete afternoon snack, which includes:

While off the typical tourist path, locals (porteños) come here to dance Milongas and Tango. It's your chance to learn some fantastic dance moves alongside expert dancers.
