We depart from El Chaltén, traveling by bus along the 36 km scenic route that leads us to Lago del Desierto. This journey offers stunning panoramic views, with lush forests and the winding Río de las Vueltas as our constant companions.

Upon reaching the Punta Sur pier, we embark on a 30-minute boat ride, where we can admire the Huemul and Crestón glaciers before arriving at the Vespignani Glacier area, located in the heart of the lake.
Once we arrive, we'll begin the trekking portion of our trip, always guided by a qualified leader to ensure your safety. You can choose from one of the three well-marked trails within the Vespignani Glacier Reserve, selecting the route that best matches your desired level of difficulty and exertion.

Alternatively, the intermediate trail offers a gentle and steady incline, leading us in just 15 minutes to a spectacular viewpoint where we can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Glacier. After enjoying a farewell snack, we board the boat again and return to the Punta Sur pier. From there, the bus will take us back to El Chaltén, where our adventure concludes.
