Based on your chosen option, we will collect you from your hotel either in the morning or afternoon. You'll board a 4x4 Movitrack vehicle as we journey to a protected reserve situated just 5 kilometers from the heart of Iguazu city.
At the Reserve, we will immerse ourselves in the Missionary Rainforest, marveling at its 2,000 untouched plant species and the potential for birdwatching in this bird-rich region, home to over 400 bird species. Key species include toucans, trogons, owls, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, magpies, among others. The abundant native wildlife and diverse ichthyofauna of the Iguazu and Paraná Rivers create a natural museum-like atmosphere, with flora sanctuaries where iconic palm groves, giant ferns, and bamboo reach the heights of the tallest trees in the interior Atlantic forest.
The exceptional natural landscape offers an ecological paradise, crafted by nature into a paradisiacal site for our half-day adventure. Our first activity will be an interpretive trek through the native flora of Paraná, spanning approximately 2 km.
This trek leads us along narrow trails blanketed with fallen leaves, herbaceous ferns, philodendrons, vines, carnations, lichens, and mosses. As we walk, we'll witness the variety of local species and vibrant inflorescences, accompanied by the constant chirping of birds.
Concluding the trek, we arrive at the middle jump (12 meters high) to engage in the canopy/zip line activity, where we'll feel like a blend of bird and human while traversing the treetops of the jungle's most significant trees.
This activity involves gliding from tree to tree, suspended from a harness on double-pointed steel cables, securely attached to the trees with eco-friendly elements that avoid harming their bark. The only connection is the wooden platforms affixed to the sturdy, ancient trees, covering a total distance of 200 meters.
From this vantage point, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the jungle biome. Finally, as we descend to the Paraná ravine, we'll engage in tree climbing, navigating hanging bridges constructed between trees in a manner that preserves the natural environment.
After an extraordinary experience filled with the wonders and surprises of nature, we will return you to your hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
