Full-Day Excursion to Iguazu National Park - Argentine Side
After collecting you from your hotel in Puerto Iguazu, we will embark on a 30-minute drive to the National Park. We will disembark the van and explore the park on foot and by train.
Once you pass through the entrance portal, proceed to the “Central Station” where you will board the train that will take you to the following trails:
Upper Walkway: An 800-meter walkway elevated above ground level to avoid disturbing the wildlife in the jungle. From this circuit, you can view the waterfalls from the top of the Dos Hermanas, Bosetti, Bernabé Méndez, and M´Bigua falls, among others.
The walk takes approximately one (1) hour.
Difficulty level: low, without stairs.
Lower Walk: A 1,600-meter walkway elevated above the ground, offering views from the base of the Dos Hermanas, Alvar Núñez, San Martín, and Bosetti falls, as well as the Peñón de la Bella Vista, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Garganta del Diablo and the Lower Iguazu River Canyon, allowing you to intimately connect with the natural surroundings, experiencing the magnitude of the waterfalls up close.
Approximate duration: two (2) hours.
Difficulty level: moderate, with stairs.
Devil's Throat: From the Cataratas Station, the train travels to the Garganta Station in about 18 minutes. The walkway stretches 1,200 meters, leading to the main balcony where you can marvel at the most impressive and significant waterfalls, the Devil’s Throat.
The walk requires about two (2) hours.

Frequently Asked Questions
The tour includes round-trip transportation to/from hotels in Puerto Iguazú, a professional bilingual guide (Spanish/English), and a guided tour of the main walkways in Iguazú National Park: viewpoints on the Upper and Lower Circuits, and, when conditions permit, access to the Devil's Throat. It usually includes the coordination of complimentary airport transfers at designated times. Not included: National Park entrance fee (ticket is paid separately), meals and drinks, optional activities (e.g., boat trips), personal insurance, or gratuities. The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather or visitor numbers. We recommend checking your travel voucher to confirm services, schedules, and current tour policies.
The complimentary airport transfer service is coordinated with the local operator and is usually provided on the day of the tour, either at the beginning or end of the excursion, depending on the time slot and availability. It typically covers the local airport in Iguazu (Argentine side, IGR) and may include one piece of luggage per passenger. To guarantee this service, please send your flight number, departure time, and contact information in advance. Very early morning or late-night flights may require a private transfer at an additional cost. This benefit is personal and non-transferable and may be affected by operational delays. Please confirm specific conditions in your booking confirmation.
The full-day excursion typically lasts between 6 and 8 hours. The standard tour includes: transfer from your hotel in Puerto Iguazú to Iguazú National Park, entrance and orientation by the guide, access to the walkway system with panoramic viewpoints, time for photos and relaxation, and return to your hotel or the airport (if using the complimentary transfer). When operating, you can take the ecological train to the Devil's Throat; the order of the circuits (Upper and Lower) is adjusted according to weather and visitor numbers. There is no border crossing. We recommend arriving early and bringing your identification and entrance ticket.
For this nature tourism experience, bring your ID or passport, entrance ticket, non-slip walking shoes, lightweight, quick-drying clothing, a rain poncho, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, and reusable water bottles. Also bring some cash or a credit card for expenses in Iguazu National Park. The level of difficulty is moderate: you'll walk along walkways and some sections with stairs, especially on the Lower Circuit. There are areas with improved accessibility, but certain sections may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility. It's a family-friendly tour, recommended for children and seniors in good general health. Always follow the guide's instructions and respect the wildlife.
Iguazu National Park operates even during rain; in fact, the water flow and mist increase, making for a spectacular photographic experience. Tours are only restricted due to thunderstorms, flooding, or maintenance, in which case the operator will reschedule the excursion or offer alternatives depending on availability and current policies. Iguazu is a year-round destination: from December to March, the water flow is higher and it's warmer; between April and June and August, the weather is milder and there are fewer tourists. Book in advance during peak season. Cancellation policies usually allow changes with 24-48 hours' notice; please check the exact conditions on your confirmation voucher.
