Our adventure begins by picking up guests from their hotels in Mendoza city, followed by a drive along the international route to Uspallata.
During the tour, we'll explore the majestic Cordón del Plata mountain range and visit the Potrerillos Dam, a significant hydraulic project that generates energy and supplies water for irrigation. We'll also explore Uspallata, an area with pre-Hispanic roots and the southernmost point of the Inca Empire.
As we travel along the national route, we'll pause at the Puente del Inca, an astonishing natural formation recognized as a Natural Monument.
We'll ascend to the Cerro Aconcagua Viewpoint, offering access to the serene Horcones Lagoon. Our journey culminates with a visit to the Monument to Christ the Redeemer, a symbol of unity between Argentines and Chileans, situated at the border with Chile.

Around 7:30 AM, we will be picked up from our chosen hotels to embark on our journey to Uspallata. As we travel alongside the Mendoza River, we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Cordón del Plata and the Potrerillos Dam.
Upon reaching Uspallata, we will make our first stop. Here, we will encounter a pre-Hispanic settlement of the Huarpes indigenous people, along with the southernmost point of the Inca Empire. Our visit will include the Villas of Picheuta, Polvaredas, and Punta de Vacas.
Our journey will continue to the Cerro Aconcagua Viewpoint, located within the provincial park that protects this area. This is the highest region of the Andes. On our way, we’ll admire the stunning Inca Bridge, a natural architectural wonder with hot springs. We will then proceed to Penitentes, a town just 4km from Cerro Aconcagua, the tallest peak in the Americas, boasting the most extensive ski infrastructure in Mendoza. Finally, we'll visit Villa Las Cuevas, situated at 3200 meters above sea level.
Between Villa Las Cuevas and the international tunnel, we will find the path leading to the Christ the Redeemer, a monument symbolizing the unity between Argentines and Chileans. Access to the monument is available only during the summer months.
After our visit, we will return to our selected hotels in Mendoza at approximately 5:30 PM. If we ascend to Christ the Redeemer in the summer, the excursion will conclude around 8 PM.
