Rafting on the Mendoza River offers an exhilarating experience for those who crave adventure and excitement. The river originates in the Andes Mountains and naturally flows to the Potrerillos Reservoir, the starting point of our thrilling journey.
Our departure from Mendoza will take us to the charming town of Potrerillos, where we'll navigate the waters of this significant open river. With its high volume of water and world-class rapids ranging from level II to III+, it's perfect for adventurers of all skill levels, requiring no prior rafting experience.
You can opt for a half-day excursion to explore 12 km of river from Campamento Los Árboles during summer and 8 km in winter. Alternatively, select the full-day excursion, which includes a Box Lunch, and enjoy an extended adventure covering nearly 30 kilometers downstream from Cerro Negro, available only in summer.

The Rafting Adventure on the Mendoza River kicks off at 11:00 am, but our hotel pickup service in central Mendoza starts at 9:00 am.
Departing from Mendoza's capital, we will journey westward to Potrerillos, the location of our base camp.
Upon arriving in Potrerillos, and depending on your selected option, we will travel upriver in our vehicles to the activity's starting point. Here, you'll receive a safety briefing, learn basic maneuvers, and get acquainted with the rafts and teamwork essentials. The Mendoza River presents a thrilling challenge; however, with the expert guidance of our seasoned guides and a safety kayak leading the way, anyone who can swim can relish this adventure.
Once we've received the instructions and safety gear (wetsuits, life jackets, helmets, and paddles), we'll be all set to dive into the waters of the Mendoza River. This exhilarating activity takes us through the most demanding and exciting rapids that will take your breath away, with the raft surging powerfully and water splashing in from all sides. After completing this adrenaline-charged journey, we'll head back to the base to change clothes and unwind.
* For those opting for the half-day experience, the starting point is Campamento los Árboles, covering 12 km of river in summer or 8 km in winter, navigating through class II and III rapids in about 1 hour. After changing, we'll return to Mendoza, concluding our services with a hotel drop-off.
* If you choose the full-day option, available during summer, the adventure starts at Cerro Negro. You'll enjoy 3.30 hours of rafting over 30 km downriver, tackling level III and III+ rapids. After changing, you'll have free time and a box lunch by the riverbank. We'll return to Mendoza via the same route, with a hotel drop-off around 7:00 pm, marking the end of our services.
