Tour Description
Day 1
Arrival in Argentina
Buenos Aires, Autonomous City
Upon your arrival at Buenos Aires airport, you'll be transported to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.
Day 2
Journey from Buenos Aires to El Calafate
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate.
Upon landing at El Calafate airport, you'll be taken to your hotel, where the rest of the day and night are free for you to begin discovering the city at your own pace.
Day 3
Perito Moreno Glacier and Nautical Safari
We start the day by heading to Los Glaciares National Park. Once at the glacier, the tour begins at the main balcony, and you can wander the walkways independently until the prearranged meeting time with your guide. These walkways provide various perspectives of the glacier, offering a chance to marvel at this magnificent natural wonder.
The Park provides a dining area with a restaurant and snack bar for lunch.
We will then embark on a one-hour navigation across Lago Rico, allowing you to admire the icebergs calved from the Perito Moreno glacier's walls.
As we reach the southern end of the Canal de los Témpanos, the boat will maintain a safe distance from the glacier's face, traveling its full length, giving you the opportunity to witness the spectacular glacier walls and their continuous calving into Lago Rico.
After the excursion, you'll return to El Calafate, where you have the evening free to enjoy as you please.
Day 4
All Glaciers
Start your day with breakfast before we pick you up for the transfer to Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47km from El Calafate. Here, we will set sail to commence our adventure.
Once aboard our comfortable vessels, the All Glaciers tour begins as we navigate the North Arm of Lake Argentino, passing through Boca del Diablo and heading toward the Upsala Canal to experience the thrill of sailing amid giant icebergs calved from the Upsala Glacier.
Next, we continue to the Canal Spegazzini, offering breathtaking views of hanging glaciers such as the Dry Glacier, Heim Glacier South, and Peineta Glacier, leading to the awe-inspiring Spegazzini Glacier, towering over 135 meters high.
To enhance this remarkable experience, we will disembark at Base Spegazzini, directly in front of the Glacier, to visit the modern Refugio Spegazzini. Here, you can enjoy various services and savor exquisite regional menus, all while taking in the stunning panoramic views.
Once the free time concludes, we will return to the port, marking the end of the excursion, and head back to El Calafate.
Day 5
From El Calafate to Ushuaia
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia, known as the city at the end of the world.
Upon arrival, you'll be taken to your hotel, where you can spend the rest of the day and evening exploring the city at your own pace.
Day 6
Tierra del Fuego National Park and End of the World Train Excursion
As we journey to the National Park, enjoy the scenic views of lakes, lagoons, and rivers. We'll pause to take in the panoramic vistas of the Beagle Channel, Ushuaia peninsula, and the Bridges, Willie, and Les Eclaireurs archipelagos.
Passing along the slopes of Mount Susanna, we witness the historical endeavors of the prisoners from the old prison, where the Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino, the End of the World Train, once operated.
We will have 30 minutes free in the service area before continuing to the park's end at Lapataia Bay. Here, we find remnants of the ancient aboriginal inhabitants and pass by beaver dams along the path to Lapataia Bay, truly the end of the world.
Day 7
4x4 Adventure
Lakes Escondido and Fagnano
After breakfast, you will be picked up between 8 and 8:30 a.m. to head to the lakes. The minibus takes Route 3, traversing parts of the Fuegian mountain range, leading to the Garibaldi Pass, a panoramic point for viewing the Escondido and Fagnano lakes.
We'll descend via old lumberjack trails, with Land Rover trucks enabling access to otherwise unreachable areas due to forest, mud, and stones. Lake Fagnano impresses with its size and stunning landscape.
At around 12:30 p.m., you'll arrive at the lodge where a delicious asado criollo awaits.
After lunch, the adventure continues with the exciting crossing of Lake Fagnano to reach an internal route leading to the smaller, yet stunningly situated, Lago Escondido.
