Frequently Asked Questions

The Buenos Aires and Bariloche tour package typically includes accommodation with breakfast at select hotels, airport transfers in both cities, and key guided excursions. In Buenos Aires, a panoramic city tour of Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca, and Recoleta is usually included, with a tango show and dinner as an option. In Bariloche, the Circuito Chico (Small Circuit) is a common route, with the possibility of climbing Cerro Campanario and free time for sailing on Lake Nahuel Huapi or other activities. Domestic flights may or may not be included, depending on the price. 24/7 assistance and a bilingual guide are provided. Meals not mentioned, tips, taxes, and travel insurance are not usually included.

The typical duration of this combined tour is 5 to 8 nights, adjustable to suit your schedule, budget, and travel style. A suggested itinerary includes 2–3 nights in Buenos Aires for a city tour, tango experiences, and free time for dining and shopping; then a flight to Bariloche for 2–4 nights exploring the Circuito Chico (Small Circuit), mountain viewpoints, forests, and lakes, plus optional activities such as sailing on Lake Nahuel Huapi, Victoria Island, and the Arrayanes Forest. The final day is a return to Buenos Aires for your connecting flight. The program is flexible and can be customized with additional nights, upgrades, and extra excursions.

The best time to visit depends on your interests. Summer (December–March) offers mild weather in Buenos Aires and long days in Bariloche for trekking, sailing, and enjoying the lake beaches; autumn and spring offer colorful landscapes and fewer crowds; winter (June–September) is ideal for skiing at Cerro Catedral and other snow activities. We recommend packing layers, a waterproof/windproof jacket, comfortable shoes or hiking boots, a hat and gloves in winter, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Buenos Aires has a mild, urban climate; Patagonia is more changeable and windy. A small daypack is very practical during your tour.

The trip typically includes well-located 3, 4, or 5-star hotels: in central Buenos Aires (for example, Microcentro, Recoleta, or Palermo) and in Bariloche near the city center or with lake views, always with breakfast included. Transfers can be private or shared, with airport pickup (Ezeiza/Aeroparque and Bariloche) and assistance in Spanish. Domestic flights between Buenos Aires and Bariloche can be included in economy class or quoted separately; schedules are coordinated to optimize the itinerary, and baggage is subject to each airline's policy. It is also possible to book the package without flights if you already have tickets. All subject to availability.

The price of the tour package depends on the season (high/low), hotel category, room type, inclusion of domestic flights, optional excursions, and number of travelers. A deposit is required to reserve, and the balance is due before departure. Credit cards and bank transfers are generally accepted, with prices quoted in ARS or USD according to current terms and conditions. Change and cancellation policies vary by provider and rate: flexible and non-refundable options are available with different penalties. It is recommended to purchase travel insurance with cancellation coverage. Dates, modifications, and rescheduling are subject to availability and the terms confirmed at the time of booking.
