Tour Description
Day 1
Arrival in Argentina
Autonomous City of Buenos Aires
Upon your arrival at the Buenos Aires airport, you will be transferred to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure.
Day 2
Panoramic City Tour and Dinner-Tango Show
Autonomous City of Buenos Aires
After breakfast, embark on a morning excursion that captures the vibrant diversity of Buenos Aires.
Discover the city's iconic Obelisk, visit notable squares like Mayo, San Martín, Alvear, and Congress; traverse famous avenues such as Corrientes, De Mayo, and 9 de Julio; and explore historic neighborhoods like La Boca and San Telmo, as well as upscale areas like Palermo and Recoleta, and the modern district of Puerto Madero. You will also see parks like Lezama and Tres de Febrero, commercial and financial zones, and a Football Stadium, among others.
In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner and a traditional tango show at El Querandí tango house. Experience a captivating performance that showcases pivotal moments in the history of tango, featuring five period pieces that span from its origins to the dynamic era of Piazzolla. Every night, music, singing, and dance come alive through the exceptional talents of the typical quartet, the soulful singers, and the passionate dancers.
Day 3
Estancia Santa Susana
Today's adventure takes you to Estancia "Santa Susana" in Los Cardales, one of the most traditional ranches in the Pampas region. Explore the charm of the Argentine countryside through sulky and horseback rides, taking in the scenic landscapes, crops, and unique wild aromas.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with typical empanadas and local wine at the grocery store. A guided tour of the museum and chapel follows, along with horseback riding.
During lunch, enjoy a Tango and folklore show featuring Malambo de Boleadoras. To conclude the day, witness an exhibition of tropillas and a ring race, showcasing the remarkable skills of the gauchos with their horses.
After the activities, we will return to Buenos Aires.
Day 4
Tiger Delta
Following breakfast at your hotel, meet at Puerto Madero around 9:30 am for a day-long excursion to the Delta del Tigre. Embark on a navigation journey to Tigre, continuing through the stunning Delta channels, where you'll observe the distinct local lifestyle and customs.
At midday, enjoy a Box Lunch by the river, followed by free time to visit museums or stroll through the Market Fruits on your own. A snack and train tickets will be provided for your return to Buenos Aires at the end of the day.
Day 5
From Buenos Aires to Iguazú + Falls on the Brazilian side
Begin the day early with a hotel pickup for your flight to Puerto Iguazú.
Upon arrival in Iguazú, a vehicle will transport you to your hotel before embarking on a half-day tour to the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls.
The tour includes a scenic bus ride across the river to the park, followed by a one-hour walk along a 1000-meter path from the Hotel Das Cataratas to a spectacular viewpoint of the Devil's Throat, where the largest amount of water from the Iguazú Falls cascades. Standing 80 meters tall, the Devil's Throat is the largest single waterfall and a must-see.
Lunch options include a restaurant in the park or a picnic at one of the park's picturesque spots. Alternatively, you can wait to dine upon returning to Puerto Iguazú.
Return to Puerto Iguazú in the early afternoon with the rest of the day and evening free.
Day 6
Waterfalls on the Argentine side
Puerto Iguazú
This guided excursion takes you to the Argentine side of the Iguazú Falls in three segments:
Devil's Throat: Begin with a train ride covering 4 km to the Devil's Throat, allowing access to the upper Iguazú River. Walk on pathways leading to a balcony with a view of the Devil's Throat.
Upper Circuit: A 500-meter (45-minute) ascent offers views of the Dos Hermanos, Bossetti, Adan y Eva, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá, and San Martin falls from above.
Lower Circuit: Accompanied by a professional guide, walk approximately 1300 meters over 1 hour and 30 minutes to view the falls from below. The excursion includes transfers to the Iguazú National Park Visitor Center, where visitors can take the train back to the Devil's Throat.
Day 7
From Iguazú to El Calafate
After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up for a checkout and transfer to Iguazú airport for your flight to El Calafate.
Upon arrival, a vehicle will take you to your hotel, with the rest of the day and night free to enjoy El Calafate at your leisure.
Day 8
Perito Moreno Glacier
Kick off the day with a visit to Los Glaciares National Park. Explore the main balcony and freely stroll the walkways, taking in the spectacular views from various viewpoints of the glacier.
The Park offers a dining area with a restaurant and snack bar for lunch.
Day 9
Navigation Lake Argentino
After breakfast, we will take you to Puerto Punta Bandera, 47km from El Calafate, to board a vessel for the excursion.
Once aboard, the All Glaciers navigation begins along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, crossing the Devil's Mouth towards the Upsala Canal. Experience the thrill of cruising among large icebergs calved from the Upsala Glacier.
Next, sail to the Canal Spegazzini, showcasing exceptional views of hanging glaciers like the Dry Glacier, Heim Glacier, and Peineta Glacier, culminating in the majestic spectacle of the towering Spegazzini Glacier.
Disembark at the Spegazzini Base to enjoy the modern amenities of the Spegazzini Refuge, taking in breathtaking panoramas. Optional regional menu tasting is available for all preferences.
After free time, the excursion concludes at the port, with a return to El Calafate.
Day 10
Farewell to Argentina
After breakfast and hotel checkout, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires. From there, you will be taken to the international airport for your return flight home.
