Tour Description

Day 1

Arrival in Puerto Iguazú

Upon reaching the Puerto Iguazú airport or bus terminal, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel conveniently located in the heart of the city.

You will have the rest of the day at your leisure to enjoy as you wish.

Day 2

Argentine Side of the Falls + Great Adventure

Following breakfast at your hotel, embark on a 9-hour tour exploring the Argentine side of the Iguazú National Park.

Witness the Argentine side of the Iguazú Falls through three distinct sections:

Devil's Throat: Begin with a scenic train ride covering 4 km to the Devil's Throat, reaching the upper Iguazú River. Stroll along walkways to a balcony offering a breathtaking view of the Devil's Throat.

Upper Circuit: A 500-meter ascent (lasting 45 minutes) provides stunning vistas of Dos Hermanos, Bossetti, Adan y Eva, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá, and San Martin falls from above. Choose between rappelling down or taking a 4x4 ride to the base of the falls.

Lower Circuit: Guided by a professional, traverse approximately 1,300 meters over 1.5 hours to explore the lower falls. Transfers to the Iguazú National Park Visitor Center are included, where you can board a train back to the Devil's Throat. Admission not included.

Enjoy lunch at a park restaurant or bring a meal from Puerto Iguazú to savor in the open air.

In the afternoon, embark on an adventure in 4x4 all-terrain vehicles, traveling 12 km through the lush missionary jungle, discovering its diverse flora and fauna.

Upon reaching Puerto Macuco, board zodiac boats for a thrilling 12 km ride through the lower Iguazú rapids to the Devil's Throat canyon.

Proceed to Salto San Martín and Tres Mosqueteros for a refreshing "shower" under the Falls. Finally, disembark opposite San Martín Island.

Boats are equipped with life jackets for all passengers, adhering to current National Prefecture safety regulations.

After approximately one hour and 45 minutes of exhilarating activities, return to Puerto Iguazú.

Day 3

Brazilian Side of the Waterfalls

Join a half-day tour to the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls in the Iguazú National Park. After breakfast at your hotel, a half-hour bus ride will take you across the river to the park.

Walk along a 1,000-meter path from Hotel Das Cataratas to a spectacular viewpoint of the Devil's Throat, where the most significant volume of water cascades. At 80 meters, the Devil's Throat stands as the tallest singular waterfall and is a sight not to be missed.

Opt for lunch at a park restaurant or bring your own to enjoy a scenic picnic. Alternatively, wait to dine back in Puerto Iguazú.

Return to Puerto Iguazú in the early afternoon, with the rest of the day and evening at your leisure.

Utilize this free day to explore the city independently or embark on any pending excursions.

Farewell to Puerto Iguazú

To fully enjoy this adventure excursion in Iguazu, pack lightweight, quick-drying clothing, non-slip or hiking boots, a raincoat or poncho, a change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, a reusable water bottle, and a waterproof case for your phone/camera. The experience is possible year-round. From November to March, the water level is typically higher, and the weather is warm and humid; be prepared for heat and brief showers. From April to September, temperatures are milder and there are fewer visitors, ideal for photography and hiking. On days with high water, walkways may be temporarily closed for safety reasons. Purchase your tickets in advance and bring cash or a credit card for expenses within the park.

The Iguazu Falls excursion is suitable for families, couples, and senior travelers; the trails feature safe walkways and accessible areas, in addition to the Ecological Train. However, the adventure boat trip has restrictions: it is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart conditions, spinal problems, recent surgeries, or severely reduced mobility. It usually requires a minimum age (e.g., 12 years old) and a certain height; participants get completely wet. Children can enjoy the walkways and viewpoints with adult supervision. For the Argentinian side, a valid ID or passport is required; for the Brazilian side, a passport and visa are required, depending on your nationality (check consular requirements).
