Upon arrival at either the San Martin de los Andes airport or bus terminal, you will be greeted and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you wish.

We begin our journey in the morning along the renowned 7 Lakes Route, nestled within the Patagonian Andean forest.

This internationally acclaimed route offers a four-hour scenic drive connecting Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo, and Nahuel Huapi lakes. Along the way, we'll stop at various viewpoints to take in the breathtaking and unique views each lake offers.

Our journey culminates at Villa La Angostura. Situated on the northwest shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi, this charming town boasts some of Argentina's most picturesque mountain landscapes. It lies within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, encircled by lakes and key protected areas of Patagonia.

The vibrant forests, interwoven with rivers, waterfalls, and mountains, change colors with each season, continually renewing their beauty.

Explore the lake port, Quintupuray, the Messidor, and the town center and its surroundings. You'll have free time to discover the town's attractions at your own pace before we return to San Martin de los Andes around 6 p.m.

Departing at 9 a.m. from your hotel in San Martin de los Andes, we travel approximately 42 km to our destination. We'll stop in the city of Junin de los Andes to enjoy a City tour, including a visit to the Church-monument dedicated to Laura Vicuña and Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, recognized for its cultural ties to the Mapuche community and acknowledged by the Vatican.

Beyond Junín, we'll catch our first glimpse of Lake Huechulafquen with the majestic Lanin Volcano as a backdrop. We'll pause to stroll along its shores and visit the source of the Chimehuín River, famed for its trout fishing, often visible to the naked eye.

Continuing our journey, we enter Lanín National Park, offering breathtaking views of Lake Huechulafquen as we follow its shores for approximately 30 km. The park entry reveals ancient Araucaria forests. Our tour proceeds to the barbecue fields managed by the Mapuche community of Cañicul, where you may opt to savor grilled meats and assorted salads (lunch not included).

Our VAN journey leads us to the park's highlight: the stunning Lanin Volcano and its awe-inspiring glaciers. We reach the southern base, the closest accessible point to the volcano, where climbs to the summit begin. Capture unforgettable photos of the glaciers and peak here.

Our adventure continues to Lake Paimún, where we visit a uniquely situated chapel, blending cultural donations and native Mapuche symbolism, integrating traditional church elements with indigenous imagery.

We return to the hotel in San Martin de los Andes around 7 p.m.
