Half Day City Tour In Rosario With Optional Lunch

We will be picked up from our chosen hotels located in the heart of Rosario to embark on our city tour, which will span 3 hours.

Our journey begins at the National Flag Monument, a masterpiece designed by architects Alejandro Bustillo and Angel Francisco Guido, alongside sculptors Alfredo Bigatti and Jose Fioravanti. This monumental sculpture ensemble symbolizes the Homeland's ship navigating the eternal sea towards a glorious destiny.

Next, we will head to the Basilica Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary. This minor basilica, dedicated to the Virgin of the Rosary, was constructed in 1731 and features a main altar crafted from Carrara marble.

After we explore Rosario's iconic cathedral, we will proceed to Plaza 25 de Mayo, named to commemorate the May Revolution on May 25, 1810, which led to the creation of Argentina's first local government in Buenos Aires.

Our tour continues to Teatro el Círculo, one of Rosario's premier opera houses, renowned for the acoustic quality of its main hall and its capacity to accommodate 1,500 people.

As we progress, we'll pass through the Paseo del Siglo, a section of Rosario's historic center, and visit the Bolsa de Comercio, established on August 18, 1884, as a non-profit civil association.

We'll also explore Boulevard Oroño, known for its magnificent mansions and late 19th-century architecture, offering a delightful stroll and architectural appreciation. Our journey continues to the Museum of Fine Arts Juan B. Castagnino, a generous donation to the city of Rosario by Mrs. Rosa Tiscornia de Castagnino in memory of her late son, Juan Bautista Castagnino, a prominent painter, art critic, and collector from Rosario.

Our tour then takes us to Parque España, an expansive area along the Paraná Canyon's coastline. We will also visit Parque Independencia, Rosario's first park, inaugurated on January 1, 1902.

Finally, after a 3-hour exploration of the city, we will return you to your hotels in central Rosario or to the restaurant if you opted for the City Tour with Lunch.
