Our trusty horse and experienced guide will lead us to destinations unreachable by other means. Typically, most paths or roads are not designed to lead us to places of remarkable scenic beauty, but rather to locations driven by commercial or transportation purposes.

This often causes us to overlook the natural wonders that we might not even imagine, as well as sites of significant cultural, geological, or historical importance.

With the help of our horse, we can access these secluded areas, usually distant from urban environments and, in some instances, scarcely visited by others.

On this journey, we will traverse rivers and dense forests, contrasting with stretches of steppe and rocky cliffs, surrounded by ancient trees, waterfalls, rivers, and streams. Depending on the route, these paths will lead us to breathtaking high vantage points. We warmly invite you to explore the Vera Mapuche Community on a captivating two-hour horseback adventure.

Tour Description

The service begins from your accommodation in the heart of San Martín de los Andes or from a pre-arranged meeting point.

At our departure base, a guide from the Mapuche community will provide an introductory talk about our journey, how to handle the horse, and the equipment required to ensure a safe excursion. Once we are equipped and briefed, the adventure starts.

The horseback ride lasts for a total of two hours, during which we will explore the Mapuche Vera Community. You'll experience its forests, mountains, streams, and a landscape that is only accessible on horseback, as cars do not traverse this path.
