Our journey begins by picking up passengers from their accommodations before heading to the stunning Valle Escondido, located just a 30-minute drive from San Martin de los Andes.
Upon arrival, our guide will provide an orientation on the use of snowshoes and poles, essential tools for exploring this remarkable area.
The excursion involves a 45-minute walk each way through breathtaking Lenga forests along a nearly flat path, culminating at a spectacular high viewpoint. From this vantage point, you’ll be able to admire the full expanse of Lacar Lake, the Escondido Valley, the Lacar Valley—home to San Martín de los Andes—and a seemingly endless array of mountain peaks, snow-laden forests, rivers, and lagoons.
