The adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from hotels in Tilcara. After a scenic 20-kilometer bus ride, we arrive at the charming village of Juella. This ancient native settlement, nestled near Tilcara, offers us a day full of exploration. We will embark on a gentle trek through an archaeological site, where you'll be captivated by the impressive stone walls and "pircas" (stone structures).
Our journey includes exciting activities like climbing and rappelling, followed by a delightful traditional lunch. Take time to explore the community and discover the attractions of this enchanting place steeped in Andean culture. We will enjoy a 2.5-hour trek, reaching a maximum altitude of 2,500 meters. To ensure a comfortable experience, we recommend wearing a hat and bringing drinking water.
