Descripción del Tour
We will depart from our designated hotels in San Miguel de Tucumán at 7:30 AM, embarking on Route 307, which guides us towards the Valleys. Our journey begins as we enter the Quebrada del Río Los Sosa, with a stop at the "El Indio" monument. Our ascent continues to El Mollar, where we will explore the Menhirs, and from this point, we proceed to the town of Tafí del Valle.
The route carries on towards the Calchaquí Valleys, reaching Abra del Infiernillo, which stands at 3,042 meters above sea level. In Amaicha del Valle, we will pause to explore the town square and its picturesque surroundings.
Our journey then leads us to the Quilmes Sacred City, where we will witness the reconstructions of the residential zone, complete with its mountaintop fortress and two flanking forts. We will walk through what was once the final stronghold of indigenous resistance against the Spanish conquest.
Continuing our adventure along the iconic Route 40, we head north, first passing through Colalao del Valle. Our next destination is Cafayate, renowned as the land of sun and fine wine, greeting us with sprawling vineyards and trellises. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit a local winery before heading back to our selected hotels in Tucumán.
