Rio Azul Circuit Tour

The journey kicks off early in the morning from El Bolsón in comfortable vehicles, offering a stunning view of the sunrise. Our team of expert guides will be on hand to greet you and make the experience memorable.

As we proceed towards the Loma del Medio, you'll gain insights into the history and significance of the Río Azul for the region. You'll learn that its name is derived from the blue tones that the water exhibits due to melting glaciers, creating a breathtaking scene reminiscent of a painting.

Upon reaching Mirador del Rio Azul, you'll be treated to panoramic vistas of mountains and verdant forests. This spot is ideal for taking photographs and enjoying a moment immersed in nature.

The initial stop will be the Los Alerces Campground, where you'll stroll along trails lined with ancient trees. Our guide will highlight the variety of flora and fauna in the area, from magnificent larch trees to native birds.

As the tour continues, we will arrive at the Río Azul Campground, featuring walkways that allow us to cross to the opposite shore, where we can observe Cerro Tres Picos in the distance and Cerro Piltriquitrón right before us.

During this segment of the trip, we'll pause to enjoy a lunch crafted from local ingredients.

Concluding the excursion, we will head back to El Bolsón.
