If you have arranged the port transfer, your Sunset Sailing adventure kicks off in El Calafate. We will pick you up from your hotel between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m., and take you to Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from the city center.
Upon reaching the boarding terminal, our experienced team will be ready to assist you with the pre-boarding process and guide you on where to purchase your ticket for Los Glaciares National Park if you haven't done so. Boarding begins at 12:30 p.m., and at 1:00 p.m., we embark on our journey towards the Spegazzini Channel.
This excursion offers you the chance to marvel at the breathtaking hues of the Patagonian sunset. Our first stop is at the Spegazzini Base, directly facing the Glacier of the same name. Here, you can soak in the stunning panoramic views and enjoy the amenities of the modern Spegazzini Refuge, where an optional lunch with an incredible view is available.
Post-lunch, we board the boat to continue our voyage. You'll have the opportunity to witness three remarkable glaciers: Heim Sur, Peineta, and the awe-inspiring Spegazzini Glacier, which stands tall at over 135 meters.
After taking in the majestic Spegazzini Glacier, we proceed to the Dry Glacier and finally head to the Upsala Channel. Here, navigating among the icebergs that have calved from the Upsala Glacier is an experience like no other.
We will return to Puerto Punta Bandera around 8:00 p.m.
