Our adventure commences from the central hotels in El Calafate at your selected time. We will set off in a 4x4 vehicle for a thrilling journey to an astounding viewpoint atop the hill, offering panoramic views that captivate every visitor.
Here, you can capture the stunning 360° natural landscape, showcasing the beauty of El Calafate and Lake Argentino, renowned as the largest lake in Argentina.
This excursion features an exhilarating 35 km route through the hills behind the town. Our expert guide will share fascinating insights about the distinctive Patagonian landscapes enveloping us.
Depending on the season and weather conditions, you might witness the majestic glaciers on Lake Argentino and the towering peaks of the Patagonian Ice Field, including Cerro Fitz Roy and La Torre in El Chalten.
For the descent, we present three unique options, each offering its own special allure:
* In 4x4: mirroring the excitement of our ascent, we will descend the southern slope of the hill, pausing to explore the Labyrinth of Stones. This intriguing rock formation, shaped by millennia of wind erosion, offers a unique perspective. In winter months, this option also includes the thrill of snowboarding on a 240-meter track, granting access to an exclusive panoramic view.
* In trekking: enjoy a 90-minute guided hike along the hill's north face, offering views of Lake Argentino while traversing a valley from the Cretaceous period.
* In zip-lining: experience the thrill of descending our exclusive circuit of 4 ziplines stretching 2920 meters.
Upon descent, in the oldest building of Estancia Huyliche, we will serve lunch or a snack depending on the time chosen for your tour.
