Your adventure kicks off when we collect you from your centrally located hotel and head down Provincial Route No. 11 towards the Tierras Patagónicas Ranch, situated 40kms from El Calafate near Los Glaciares National Park.
During the journey, you'll be treated to an exquisite view of Lake Argentino, framed by the majestic Andes mountain range, alongside the area's native flora and fauna.
Upon reaching the Tierras Patagónicas Ranch, you'll have leisure time to explore the ranch's surroundings, delve into its history, and relish the natural beauty encompassing the area.
Following the exploration, we'll indulge in a pasta buffet dinner with sweeping views of the hills that embrace the Estancia.
Post-dinner, enjoy a brief 15-minute film screening that offers an introduction to astronomy, setting the stage for the rest of your experience. After the technical briefing, the stargazing session begins, where an astronomer will provide initial insights and guide you in observing the sky, using the telescope, and understanding the Milky Way, nebulae, stars, constellations, mythology, and more.
Apart from stargazing, engage in night photography, also known as “Astrophotography”, and enjoy Light Painting, a creative technique that uses light to craft images without photoshop or other editing software.
