Our tour kicks off with a convenient hotel pick-up in El Calafate starting at 9:30 am.

We'll depart from Calafate and set out on Provincial Route 15, famously known as the Route of the Estancias or the Route of the Pioneers. During this journey, our guide will provide insights into the contemporary life of El Calafate, as well as its unique flora and fauna, all while we soak in the stunning Patagonian landscape.
As we continue along this gravel road, our guide will delve into the region's past, sharing stories until we reach the era of the ranches. Here, you'll learn about the significant strike of 1921, often referred to as the Rebel Patagonia or the Tragic Patagonia, with the pivotal location being Estancia Anita. We'll make a poignant stop at the Cenotaph to honor these historical events.
Throughout the trip, we'll encounter panoramic points overlooking the Sur and Rico arms of Lake Argentino as we enter the breathtaking Los Glaciares National Park. Here, we'll observe overhangs adorned with cave paintings and gain insights into the area's first inhabitants, the Tehuelches.
Next, we'll embark on a trek to the Mirador del Lago Roca, where the beauty of the Andean forest surrounds us.
