Underground Night Trekking

The adventure kicks off in La Cumbrecita, a charming alpine village celebrated for its mountain ambiance and distinctive alpine architecture. Upon crossing the entrance bridge and wandering through its historic center, set out on the trail leading to Cerro Wank, a scenic viewpoint perched at 1,620 meters above sea level.

The climb, featuring a vertical gradient of 260 meters, meanders through paths lined with native vegetation and natural viewpoints. Reaching the peak offers a breathtaking panorama of the mountains, the valley, and the expansive horizon, which transforms into a canvas of unique colors as the sun sets.

From this vantage point, the journey descends to the Wildbach Stream, a natural landmark that signifies the start of the second phase of the adventure. As dusk approaches, the underground exploration commences, with a guided tour into a cavern led by seasoned experts.

During the 80-meter trek inside, the serene silence and intricate rock formations create an intriguing atmosphere, perfect for those in search of a unique experience. The excursion is conducted under safe conditions, equipped with the necessary gear and support to ensure a fulfilling experience.

The path back retraces the same route, completing a circuit of roughly 8 kilometers with a 380-meter elevation gain, blending nature, challenge, and exploration in an unparalleled mountain setting.
