Nestled in the heart of the Sierras Grandes, the charming alpine village of La Cumbrecita marks the beginning of an adventure that beautifully blends high-altitude scenery with underground exploration. After crossing its charming pedestrian bridge and strolling through cobblestone streets, we will embark on the trail leading to Cerro Wank, which stands at an elevation of 1,620 meters.

Following a 260-meter ascent, the peak reveals unparalleled panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below. From this vantage point, the descent takes us to the Wildbach stream, where, as night falls, we commence our caving expedition: an 80-meter journey through caverns in a secure and guided setting.

Upon crossing the entrance bridge and wandering through its historic center, set out on the trail leading to Cerro Wank, a scenic viewpoint perched at 1,620 meters above sea level.

The climb, featuring a vertical gradient of 260 meters, meanders through paths lined with native vegetation and natural viewpoints. Reaching the peak offers a breathtaking panorama of the mountains, the valley, and the expansive horizon, which transforms into a canvas of unique colors as the sun sets.
