At the appointed time, we will depart from our chosen hotels and head west, exploring the residential area, Padercitas, Quebrada, Tunnel, and Los Sauces Dam.
From this point, we will ascend in a 4x4 to the Sierra de Velasco via a winding and rocky cornice road, reaching the mountaintop. Here, we will pause to take in the most stunning panoramic views of the city, the dam, the town of Sanagasta, and the plains of La Rioja.
We will take our time to savor this remarkable location and enjoy watching the paragliding and hang gliding track situated in this region. We will witness daring athletes launching into the air during their flight practices.
Following this unforgettable experience, we will have the option to visit the observatory for a tour (optional, not included) or return to our selected hotels in the city of La Rioja.
