In the early morning, we'll depart from our chosen hotels to embark on a tour along the Mendoza River. From this vantage point, you'll have the opportunity to take in breathtaking views of the Cordón del Plata and Potrerillos Dam.
Our initial stop will be in Uspallata, a region historically inhabited by the Huarpes Indians and marking the southernmost boundary of the Inca Empire. From here, we'll proceed to visit several quaint villages, including Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas, and the Los Penitentes ski center. At the ski center, you have the option to take a chairlift ride (entrance fee not included) for stunning panoramic views.
Our journey will continue to the Inca Bridge, a remarkable natural formation with thermal water springs. We'll then stop at the viewpoint of Mount Aconcagua, before reaching Las Cuevas Village, situated at an altitude of 3200 meters.
Between Las Cuevas Village and the International Tunnel, we will find the road leading to the Cristo Redentor, accessible only during the summer months. This magnificent monument represents the friendship between Argentina and Chile.
After this incredible day, we'll return to our hotels at around 18:30 hours.
During the summer, if we visit Cristo Redentor, the tour may conclude around 20:00 hours.
