The tour kicks off with a hotel transfer in Salta, beginning at 09:00 am.
Our journey takes us through the Lerma Valley, perched at 1200 meters above sea level, a key area for tobacco cultivation in the province of Salta. Along the way, we will explore the towns of Capital, Cerrillos, Rosario de Lerma, Chicoana, el Carril, and Coronel Moldes, offering a glimpse into the fields, production techniques, and diverse tobacco varieties grown in the region.
The adventure continues to the Cabra Corral dam, where we'll enjoy some free time for lunch (not included). Our next stop is Finca Santa Anita, where family efforts have restored unique artifacts to establish Argentina's first Tobacco Museum. This site holds an archaeological museum of notable significance and showcases productive ventures like goat cheese, pepper, and Creole tobacco production. Additionally, there are smaller yet fascinating collections of aromatic-medicinal spices and native trees.
The tour concludes with a return to the hotels in Salta, around 5:00 p.m.
