Tren Solar De La Quebrada

Your day kicks off with a pickup in the city of Salta, followed by a transfer to the province of Jujuy. As you journey through northern Argentina, you'll be treated to the breathtaking views of the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Upon arrival in Volcán, you'll board the Solar Train to embark on the 360° Experience, a cutting-edge and comfortable way to explore the area.

The activity is divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. Both groups traverse the same route, stopping at every station with identical overall program timing. The distinction lies in their operational schedule and the sequence in which the attractions are visited.

🚂 Group A Route

Group A of the Solar Train through the Quebrada follows a meticulously planned itinerary, allowing travelers to savor each destination step by step.

Starting in Volcán, the train departs and dives into the heart of the gorge. The first station is Purmamarca, a highlight of the region, renowned for the Hill of Seven Colors and its vibrant artisan market.

The journey then proceeds to Maimará, celebrated for its striking mountain formations like the Painter's Palette, before heading to Tilcara, a cultural and historical hub of the Quebrada, perfect for exploring its streets, markets, and archaeological sites.

On the return journey, the train passes through Posta de Hornillos, a site of significant historical importance in the region, and then through Tumbaya, a quaint Andean village that retains the traditional charm of northern Argentina.

The circuit ultimately concludes back at Volcán, providing a thorough experience of the quintessential landscapes of the Quebrada de Humahuaca.

Group B of the Quebrada Solar Train delivers an equally comprehensive experience, but with a varied order of stops, ensuring a balanced distribution of visitors at each station.

The journey also commences from Volcán, with the train first heading towards Tumbaya, a picturesque town surrounded by mountains and rich in ancestral traditions, inviting you to connect with the local culture as you start your adventure.

The route continues to Purmamarca, one of the valley's most iconic spots, globally recognized for its vivid landscapes and cultural heritage.

Next, the train travels to Posta de Hornillos, a pivotal historical landmark in the region, before reaching Maimará, where the stunning multicolored hills and distinctive ravine landscapes are truly captivating.

Afterwards, the train arrives in Tilcara, one of the circuit's liveliest destinations, renowned for its archaeological, culinary, and cultural treasures.
