Tour Description
Option: One-Day Trekking to Cerro Champaquí:
We embark on our journey at the break of dawn, precisely at 5:30 a.m., departing from Plaza de San Javier. A professional guide will provide essential instructions for the trekking tour and all necessary safety precautions.
The adventure begins with an approximately 7-hour ascent along the Cuesta de las Cabras, leading us to the expansive mountain ranges.
During the trek, you'll witness unique flora, including the Tabaquillo and Maytén trees, indigenous to Córdoba's majestic mountains, alongside streams with pristine waters.
Our journey continues onward until we reach the summit of Cerro Lindero, where we'll take a brief rest, rejuvenate, and enjoy lunch.
< div style="text-align: justify;">From this point, we'll advance on the final one-hour stretch to conquer the summit of the magnificent Cerro Champaquí, standing tall at 2,790 meters above sea level.Upon reaching the peak of Cerro Champaquí, you'll be captivated by the panoramic vistas of the Traslasierras Valley and the Calamuchita Valley from the highest vantage point. We will then commence our descent via Estancia la Constancia, concluding our expedition around 6:00 p.m.
Option: Two-Day/One-Night Trekking to Cerro Champaquí:
The excursion begins at 6:00 a.m. from Plaza San Javier. We follow the same route to the summit of Cerro Champaquí over 7 hours, with a snack provided.
In the evening, we will dine and spend the night at the Don Marcos Dominguez Post, offering shared rooms with bunk beds, bathroom facilities, and hot water.
On the second day, after breakfast, we'll reach the top of Champaquí Hill to capture memorable photos. We will then make our return to the town, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.
