Descripción del Tour:

The journey to the Vinciguerra Glacier kicks off early in the morning, as transportation collects participants from their accommodations in Ushuaia. From there, we head to the Andorra Valley, our adventure's starting point.
At 9:00 am, we embark on the trail that will lead us through diverse landscapes. Our trek begins by crossing peat bogs and rivers formed by glacial melt, as we enter the lush subantarctic forests of lengas and ñires.
As we progress, the terrain becomes more challenging. By noon, we reach the Laguna de los Témpanos, nestled at the base of the Vinciguerra Glacier. The lagoon's crystal-clear waters mirror the ice formations, creating a stunning visual display.
After a break to enjoy lunch and rejuvenate, we gear up for the exhilarating experience of walking on the glacier. Equipped with crampons and helmets supplied by our guides, we'll traverse the icy surface, exploring crevasses and ice formations. This is a rare chance to witness the dynamics of moving ice up close.
Following this unforgettable adventure, we commence our descent, retracing our steps while savoring the final panoramic views of the mountain range and surrounding valleys.
Ultimately, we wrap up our expedition, returning to the central hotels in Ushuaia.

However, it is always advisable to check the weather forecast a few days before your trip, as conditions on the mountain can change rapidly.

For the Martial Glacier excursion, it's essential to wear appropriate clothing to ensure your comfort and safety. Layered clothing is recommended to adapt to temperature changes, including thermal clothing, a long-sleeved shirt, a waterproof and windproof coat, comfortable pants, gloves, a hat, and sunglasses to protect you from the sun's glare on the ice.
