The tour kicks off at around 8:30 AM from your hotel situated in the heart of Ushuaia. From this starting point, we will journey to the Tierra Mayor valley, where our trek to the Esmeralda Lagoon will commence.
We will embark on a guided hike through the enchanting Fuegian forests, exploring lakes, rivers, and the stunning mountain scenery of the Andes. Our destination is the Esmeralda Lagoon, a glacial marvel named for the vibrant color of the sediments from the Ojo de Albino Glacier. Here, you will have the opportunity to rest and marvel at the breathtaking landscape, capturing its beauty through your camera lens.
Additionally, we will discover the intricate beaver dams, an impressive system constructed by beavers over the stream, which has given the site its name.
After an approximately 3-hour trek, we will reach a forest refuge, where you can savor a delicious box lunch as detailed in see menu.
By around 3:00 PM, we will return to our accommodation in the city center.
