Tour Description
At the designated time, we will depart from our chosen accommodations in Villa Unión to embark on a journey to the Ischigualasto-Villa Unión Geological Triassic Basin.
This remarkable basin, home to the renowned Valley of the Moon in Ischigualasto and the Talampaya National Park, is one of the newest tourist attractions. It boasts significant historical, geographical, and especially geological interest, as it contains plant remains embedded in sediments dating back to the Triassic period of the Mesozoic era.
Throughout our journey, we will cover 25 kilometers within the basin, making 7 stops to explore each location. We will discover fascinating geological formations and mountains with a wide spectrum of colors that range from vibrant reds to soft yellows, and even subtle greens.
Following our exploration, we will return to our selected accommodations in Villa Unión.
