Tour Description
In this half-day excursion, we'll explore the key attractions of Villa Unión on a City Tour. Starting at the central San Martin square, our journey will lead us to the red hill in Banda Florida.
Banda Florida is a quaint village located just 2 km from Villa Unión, where we can stroll through the red soil and discover rocks from the upper Paleozoic and Triassic periods. Here, we will encounter petroglyphs believed to be part of the culture of the Barrios (dating between 550 and 850 AD).
The petroglyphs we observe are attributed to shamans, who utilized various tools to craft these stone carvings. After our visit, we will return to Villa Unión by noon.
