Our tour kicks off at 08:30 am with a pick-up from the central hotels in the city of El Calafate. From there, we head towards the base of the Andes Mountains to begin our ascent along the mountain path of Cerro Frías. This path is situated on Estancia Alice, 23 kilometers from the city center, where we can observe the local flora and fauna. Our journey will be conducted in Land Rover Defender vans, specifically equipped for safety and comfort during the excursion.
As we ascend, you'll be treated to an incredible panoramic view of the area, including the vastness of Lake Argentino. Our first stop is at a viewpoint located 450 meters above sea level, offering a view of the Centinela River.

Our second stop at 1030 meters provides breathtaking vistas of the Torres del Paine, Lake Roca, the Cadena de Cristales, the Canal de los Témpanos, and the Rico Sur branches of Lake Argentino, along with its northern arm. On a clear day, the Andes Mountains and Cerro Fitz Roy can be seen in the distance.
Upon reaching the highest point of the route, we'll commence our descent through the native lenga forest along the southern slope of the Hill, eventually arriving at the ranch's barbecue area. Here, you'll have time to enjoy the facilities and unwind. Depending on the option selected, you'll have time for a meal, snack, or dinner.
Finally, after these enriching hours, we will head back to the city center and ensure your safe return to your central hotel.
