The adventure kicks off by picking up guests from their accommodations in El Calafate. If you're not staying in an authorized hotel (such as Airbnb or a private residence), the designated meeting point will be the ACA Parking Lot or the roundabout near the Secretary of Tourism.
We will set off from the city in a 4x4, heading south. After a 3 km trek, we will arrive at the starting point for the 3-hour hike.
Shielded from the wind, we'll navigate through canyons and streams to take in the untouched landscapes of Patagonia. Witness an array of birds, river trout, and flora typical of the steppe, along with marine fossils preserved in geological formations, showcasing the environment's evolution over centuries.
The hike concludes after covering 7 km at the Estancia Section, situated 800 meters above sea level, where we will enjoy a hearty lunch.
The excursion wraps up with a return to the guests' hotels in El Calafate.
