Our tour kicks off at 08:30 am with the pick-up from central hotels in the city of El Calafate, heading to Estancia Alice, situated 20 kilometers from downtown. Here, we'll embark on a 2-hour horseback ride and observe the local flora and fauna.
The adventure commences by crossing a meadow or mallín, beginning the ascent along the mountain path. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes, and once we reach higher ground, you'll be treated to stunning views of the Centinela Valley and the Torres del Paine.
Our ascent continues until we arrive at the highest fields of the hill, where ranch cattle and wildlife such as guanacos, hares, foxes, armadillos, and skunks can be spotted.
Upon reaching the highest point accessible on this excursion, we'll begin our descent back to the estancia. Here, you'll have free time to explore the facilities and enjoy your meal, snack, or dinner depending on your chosen option.
After these hours, we will return to the city center and drop you off at your central hotel.
