Our adventure kicks off with a pickup from your downtown El Calafate hotel in a 4x4 vehicle. As we journey along the Cañadon del Arroyo Calafate slopes, you'll have the chance to observe native wildlife, including guanacos, foxes, hares, and condors, among other fascinating species.

Our route continues with a 20-minute ascent to our first stop. We'll reach the First Balcony, a site from the Cenozoic Era, about 65 million years ago. Here, you'll have the opportunity to admire fossils, sediments, and plant life that narrate the tale of an ancient sea that once covered this area.
We'll take a brief pause to explore the Upper Balconies, positioned 1100 meters above sea level. This vantage point offers you breathtaking vistas of the Andes Mountains, the impressive Patagonian Continental Ice, and the various arms of Lake Argentino. On clear days, the Fitz Roy and Torre hills in Chaltén are visible. Besides these unforgettable views, the Balconies' unique location above condor nests provides a rare chance to witness the Andean Condor in flight.
