Tour Description

The Arroyo La Puente Trek starts at the entrance to La Cumbrecita village, in La Pampita, situated at an elevation of 1,420 meters. Beginning at this location, the trail beckons you into a mountain environment of exceptional beauty, leading to seldom-visited spots.

Initially, the trail heads south, traversing the pine forest alongside the Las Mojarras stream. It then meanders through highland pampas, where the unobstructed horizon reveals the mountain ranges in all their grandeur.

The journey's end is the La Puente stream, which we follow upstream until reaching the area known as Los Corrales. Here, a striking rocky basin conceals the water underground, allowing it to reemerge a few meters away in a tranquil surface flow. This location exemplifies nature's strength and patience in its geological process.

After exploring this remarkable setting and enjoying a meal at the basin's edge, among willows and native flora, it's time to unwind. With leisure time to explore the surroundings or take a refreshing dip in its waters, the day concludes with a return to La Cumbrecita, carrying with it the serenity and splendor of the mountains.
