Taking my teenage daughter whale watching from Puerto Pirámides was the highlight of our weekend getaway. The boat group felt pleasantly small—around a dozen people—so nobody had to fight for the rail or a whale photo. The mood was relaxed and chatty, with excited whispers when a mother and calf surfaced nearby. Our minibus was comfy too, with cushioned seats, working air conditioning, and room for my daughter to nap after the early pickup. The crew kept things fun without turning it into a circus.

Unsere erste internationale Reise als frisch verheiratetes Paar begann mit dieser Walbeobachtungstour. Neben der Bootsfahrt waren Transfer, Einweisung und Zeit für einen kurzen Küstenspaziergang enthalten. Unser Guide entdeckte nach etwa 20 Minuten eine Mutter mit Kalb; vom Boot aus sahen wir sie erstaunlich nah. Für den Umfang und die ruhige Organisation fanden wir den Preis absolut fair.

Depuis le bateau, on a longé les falaises ocres de la péninsule, avec des lions de mer sur les rochers. Deux baleines franches sont venues près, dont une avec son petit.
